The Motley Crew - is a group of young adults whose fellowship time centers around various activities around the community. The group is made up of singles, couples, and families - primarily in their 20's and 30's, although we have a variety of ages. We alternate between family-friendly activities (such as picnics, bowling, game night, etc.) and "adult" activites (going out to dinner/movie, working on a Habitat House, etc.). We also have both fellowship and service-based activities.
Women’s Guild – Meets monthly on Thursday mornings for fellowship and an interesting program. Past speakers have been from the Rehabilitation Center and the fire department.
Quilters Circle – Meets weekly on Tuesdays from 10 to 2 PM for quilting and fellowship. One of their beautiful quilts in process is pictured above.
Other Fellowship Opportunities

Mother-Daughter Banquet – Women were crucial in the creation of the Christian faith. Bethlehem Church recognizes all women as "daughters of the church," and in turn a dinner is held every May in honor of the women of Bethlehem. Men prepare the meal and women enjoy their labors.
Annual Fish Fry and Carry Out - Each June, Bethlehem hosts a Fish Fry with the Tin Fish Restaurant (Jennings Station, Newburgh). This is a great community event that has not only great food, but the proceeds are donated to help alleviate hunger in our community and around the world! Families of Bethlehem and the community have begun to make this event a tradition as we serve hundreds of people in a few short hours.
Ice Cream Social - Our Eosin group sponsors this fun summertime event each year during the summer. Burgers, hot dogs, "cookout sides," and of course ICE CREAM (both store-bought and homemade) are served in our Fellowship Hall. This event raises money for Habitat for Humanity and is highly anticipated each year!
Burgoo and Chicken Noodle Soup Dinner and Carry Out – Every October people travel many miles to this annual dinner at Bethlehem. Burgoo is a German soup delicacy. Bethlehem actually has a separate building to prepare this unique soup. Pictured above is the giant vat the soup is prepared in. If you don’t have an acquired taste for Burgoo, then try our wonderful chicken noodle soup!
