Bethlehem Church is in a covenantal relationship with the United Church of Christ denomination. The United Church of Christ (UCC) is a denomination of 1.7 million members in the . The UCC is a denomination which welcomes all people with a non-judgmental theology and accepts both women and me into positions of leadership within the church. Each local church is autonomous from the UCC national church and the UCC national church acts in an advisory capacity, not a dictatorial capacity, in its relationship with the local church.
