Lee Ann Shafer
Children's Ministry Coordinator
Lee Ann grew up in Evansville and lived in three other states (and one other country) before moving back in 1990. A Bethlehem member since 1991, she has served in many roles, but her favorite ones involve working with children and youth. Some highlights include teaching Sunday School during the days of “Rotation,” writing scripts for Family Night and Rally Day, helping with the summer musicals in 2002 – 2005, directing Vacation Bible School, and organizing the 30-hour Famine. Lee Ann’s children were all confirmed at Bethlehem. She has one adult daughter, Anna Sivonda, who lives in Florida with her husband, and a son, William Walls, who is an active member of the Senior High Youth at Bethlehem. When she is not busy at church, Lee Ann advises adult students and works as a college administrator at the University of Southern Indiana. Her hobbies include travel and volunteering for Donate Life Indiana and other organizations.
