Newcomer’s Class

A Newcomer’s Class is held periodically through the year as a basic introduction to the Bethlehem Church family. You have the opportunity to talk with the Senior Pastor and ask questions, meet other newcomers to the church, get a brief overview of the history of the Christian church, and learn more about the goals and visions of Bethlehem Church. The class is designed to clearly explain who and what Bethlehem Church and the United Church of Christ is all about.

Q:Where is the class held?
The class is held at the church.

Q: What if at the end of the CLASS I don’t know if I want to become a member yet?
That’s fine, you can make that choice, this is a personal decision we suggest you give prayerful consideration and we believe this decision is between you and God.
Q: I was baptized at another church does that count?
Yes, Bethlehem Church recognizes baptisms from other churches.
Q: Is there child care available?
Yes, there is childcare available for ages 0 thru 11 (pre-registration is necessary).

Couples Small Group

The Couples Small group is fellowship of couples of various ages who meet once a month at different homes. At the gatherings there is a time of prayer, sharing of highs and lows, and biblical discussions. It is a wonderful opportunity to receive support from fellow Christian couples and deepen your walk with Christ. Check the worship bulletins for time and place of meetings or call the church office for more information.

Bethlehem Bad Girls

Women in this group gather at member's homes for sharing, support, and reflection. Discussions are centered around a spiritual book chosen by the group - one chapter per month - but often stray into more lively conversations about life and how personal experiences have effected us.
